The Gosnell School District is accepting applications for the following position:
Elementary (K-6) Teacher
This is for the 2022-23 school year. All applicants must be certified to teach and hold a current Arkansas teaching license. The contact person is Tiffany Kennemore. Applications can be picked up at the Administration Office or found on the district's website https://www.gosnellschool.net/page/employment. Applications will be taken until the position is filled and may be faxed to (870) 532-4033 or sent to Mrs. Kennemore at Gosnell Elementary School, 600 Hwy 181, Gosnell, AR 72315. Kindergarten Registration for the 2022-23 school year will be April 25, 26, and 27. If you have a child who will be 5 by August 1, 2022, he/she needs to be enrolled in kindergarten. Bring proof of residency, social security card, birth certificate, shot record, and a recent physical (within the past year). Free backpacks for each complete registration.
Parent-Teacher Conferences are Thursday, March 17, 2022, from 3:30pm - 6:30pm at Gosnell Elementary. Parents can pick up report cards and discuss student progress. We look forward to seeing you.
The Father-Daughter Dance is this Thursday, February 17, 2022, from 6pm - 7:30pm in the blue gym. Tickets are $10per person at the door and pictures will be taken that night for $5 each. Parent-Teacher Conferences are scheduled for this Thursday, February 10,2022, from 3:30pm - 6:30pm. Parents can pick up progress reports from the homeroom teacher. All teachers and the school nurse will be available from 3:30-6:30. Gosnell School district is currently under a mask mandate when indoors. If social distancing is maintained at 3 feet or more, a mask is not required. Again, Parent-Teacher Conferences will be this Thursday, February 10, 2022 from 3:30-6:30.
January is Arkansas School Board Recognition Month!

Gosnell Elementary will be using AMI day 3 for Friday January 21 and AMI day 4 for Monday January 24. There will be no school on campus both days. We will return to school on Tuesday January 25.
Gosnell SD: After school tutoring is canceled for today, Thursday, January 20, 2022. Students will go home at 3:10 pm their regularly scheduled way.
Gosnell SD: Gosnell Schools will be using AMI days 3 and 4 on Friday 1/21/22 and Monday 1/24/22 due to COVID Illness. School will resume on Tuesday, January 25th. Students are responsible for completing work that teachers have assigned.

Group Pictures will be taken this week. 5x7 is $10. Forms have been sent home, contact your child’s teacher if you need one.
Tomorrow Wednesday, January 19, 2022, is the GSD COVID shot clinic. Any parents interested in having their elementary student receive a shot must fill out a form and contact the school nurse 532-4024. Shots will be available to all elementary students with parent permission.

G.E.S. Third graders are giving back to the residents at Gosnell Health Care. Each resident received a gift and a handmade card from students.
COVID Shot clinic on Wednesday this week. Forms must be signed by parents for students to receive vaccine.
