Gosnell School District will be closed Monday, January 15th, for Martin Luther King, Jr Day.
School districts are no longer allowed to have AMI days. Any snow/inclement weather days that occur must be made up on the built-in snow days in this year's school calendar. A link to the calendar is provided below.

The boys basketball game at Piggott on 1/12/24 has been moved to 1/11/24 at Piggott starting at 5:00.
The girls basketball game @ Manila for 1/8/24 has been rescheduled to 1/11/24 @ Manila starting at 5:00PM.
12/12/23 @ 5:00PM in High School Auditorium
The HS boys will play Thursday as originally scheduled at the Gerald Jennings Tournament in Lepanto at 5:15.
The JH Boys will now play at 6:45, immediately following HS (rather than before).
Apologies for the late notice, and for any confusion as this is different from the bracket that the schools and coaches originally received.

If you are playing powder puff or coaching powder puff then you will have time to practice on Monday from 2nd hour until 11:15. You will meet on the field and it will be split in half with Mrs. Jenkins and Mrs. Bowdler on each end of the field. Jerseys and flags will need to be picked up 1st hour on Monday from Mrs. Hendrix. Remember to bring $1.00 for admission to the game to your SAIL teacher on Monday and the concession stand will be open during the game. Piggott will be broadcasting the game tomorrow night on YouTube at PSD Streaming. Admission is $5/adult and $3/student.

*Thursday, August 24th, the Junior High team will begin at 8:00pm at Brookland.
*Friday, August 25th, the High School team will begin at 7:30pm at Piggott.

High School students that drive in the mornings need to enter the student parking lot entrance by the crosswalk from the high school building to the gym. Go Pirates
Parents and students for grades 7-12 need to enter campus on Jolly Roger road which is north of the Gosnell High School. If you have a GJHS student then you will follow Jolly Roger road around by the baseball and softball fields towards the Junior High. High School Student drivers need to take the same route except turn by the bus shop and enter the student parking area to park.
Gosnell High School Open House will be tomorrow night from 6:00pm-7:00pm. We hope all the students had a wonderful break and are ready for an exciting school year ahead! A lot of inspiring things are awaiting you all! Go Pirates!
