If any current student in grades 9-11 need to attend summer school, you need to email Mrs Roach as soon as possible at jroach@gosnellschool.net
There will be further guidance next week regarding Summer School for grades 7-8.

Due to unforeseen circumstances, we’ve had to change the date to this year’s Spring Show. Pre-k through 2nd grade dancers will now perform on Monday, April 26 at 7:00 p.m. in the High School Gym. 3rd grade through 6th grade will now perform on Tuesday, April 27 at 7:00 p.m. in the High School Gym. Sorry for the inconvenience but this also allows us to be able to get more people the opportunity to see the performance this way. Thank you for your patience and understanding!!!
Baseball game will be rescheduled
Baseball game today is canceled and be rescheduled at a later date. Junior high track meet will be moved to Thursday of this week
Gosnell Schools will be closed Tuesday and Wednesday (February 16 & 17th) because of inclement weather. Both days will be Virtual Learning.
Reminder that there is NO SCHOOL tomorrow in observance of President’s Day!
Vouchers ARE required for the Jr Boys game today vs Manila at 5:00. Coaches have vouchers and will hand those out.

We have updated our procedure or protocols for students who are in quarantine due to the Covid virus. Please have your students check and open the email and review this with them. If you have any questions feel free to contact either office and an administrator will be glad to help you in any way
Attention Secondary Parents: HAC is now back open! You will need to go in and change your password after the update to the system.
-Go to the school website (www.gosnell school.net)
-Click on HAC under the menu tab
-Choose the school
- Type in your username
- Type in the new password (Pirates1)
- This will prompt you to create a new password

The Girls Basketball Games Tonight at Piggott have been cancelled. 7th, Jr High, and High School Games are all cancelled and will try to be rescheduled at a later date.
Students, Parents, and Fans:
Monday, November 23, 2020, we will have our basketball home opener. It is a Boys contest between your Gosnell Pirates and the Pocahontas Redskins. It is a 5:00 start for the Junior Boys game and a Senior High JV game will follow.
The following are some items of interest:
- Please be respectful of any and ALL rules while attending both home and away games.
- A voucher all games to enter both home and away. These may be obtained through a ball player or a basketball coach. ALL AAA passes will be honored. NO SCHOOL passes will be used for entrance. We will have a very limited number of people so most of the vouchers will be dispersed to players. We would love to have the gym packed out and rocking but unfortunately that isn’t an option currently.
- If you can’t obtain a voucher or make it to the HOME games, they will be live streamed from the school’s YouTube account (Gosnell School District)
-Entrance is still in through the glass doors
-Exit will be the glass doors closest to the men’s restroom to prevent crowding.
-Please respect All social distancing and seating guidelines. We have placed a combination of tape and caution tape in places that you CANNOT sit! (There will be a follow up post with pictures of the layout)
-Masks must be worn at all times
-Fan behavior is now a policy from the AAA. An ejection from a game will result in loss of attendance at the next “like” or comparable game.
Our hope is that we allow our student athletes to play and enjoy this season but we need everyone’s help!!
Reminder: NO QUARANTINED STUDENTS ARE ALLOWED ON CAMPUS! THIS INCLUDES FOR PICTURE RETAKES. We are sorry about the inconvenience this might cause but we are following ADH guidelines
TOMORROW (Tuesday, November 10) is makeup picture day for all students who missed the first picture day or want a re-take.
It is also picture day for all virtual students.
K-6 virtual students will need to report to the upper library from 8:00-9:00 a.m. for their pictures. It is the building located by Special Services.
Virtual students in grades 7-12 will need to report to the high school auditorium from 8:00-9:00 a.m. using the outside entrance by the teacher parking lot.
Virtual students who do not attend will not have a school picture included in this year's yearbook.
Homecoming Caravan is cancelled due to weather. Plan is to still have court on the field at 6:30 weather permitting. If weather is not cooperating we will have the presentation of the court in the gym at 6:30.

If you pre-purchased a season ticket for tonight’s football, you will need to show your voucher to the people taking tickets at the gate by the gym. They will let you through and your ticket(s) can be picked up at the table set up to the left after you exit the breezeway. You will need to keep the laminated pass with your name on it to get into future home football games for the 2020 season
