Homecoming Activity Change:
Monday-Powder Puff Game 1:30
Thursday-Movie Day(9th & 10th in AM) (11th & 12th in PM)
If you are playing powder puff or coaching powder puff then you will have time to practice on Monday from 2nd hour until 11:15. You will meet on the field and it will be split in half with Mrs. Jenkins and Mrs. Bowdler on each end of the field. Jerseys and flags will need to be picked up 1st hour on Monday from Mrs. Hendrix. Remember to bring $1.00 for admission to the game to your SAIL teacher on Monday and the concession stand will be open during the game. If you have any questions concerning powder puff, email Mrs. Hendrix or Mrs. Jenkins. Go Pirates!
Today is the last day to sign someone up for the Homecoming dance that doesn’t attend Gosnell High School.

Piggott will be broadcasting the game tomorrow night on YouTube at PSD Streaming. Admission is $5/adult and $3/student.
Due to extreme temperatures this week, the High School and Junior High Football games will have different starting times.
*Thursday, August 24th, the Junior High team will begin at 8:00pm at Brookland.
*Friday, August 25th, the High School team will begin at 7:30pm at Piggott.

High School students that drive in the mornings need to enter the student parking lot entrance by the crosswalk from the high school building to the gym. Go Pirates
Parents and students for grades 7-12 need to enter campus on Jolly Roger road which is north of the Gosnell High School. If you have a GJHS student then you will follow Jolly Roger road around by the baseball and softball fields towards the Junior High. High School Student drivers need to take the same route except turn by the bus shop and enter the student parking area to park.
Gosnell High School Open House will be tomorrow night from 6:00pm-7:00pm. We hope all the students had a wonderful break and are ready for an exciting school year ahead! A lot of inspiring things are awaiting you all! Go Pirates!

Announcement is for SENIORS ONLY!
There will be a meeting at 7:00 pm, right after open house on August 10th, in the auditorium, for seniors and their parents/guardians to discuss plans and activities for the upcoming year!
Class of ‘24 senior sunrise will be Friday, August 11, at 5:15 am on the football field. In case of weather, the backup date is the August 12th. Seniors will meet for refreshments, watch the sunrise and celebrate the start of their senior year together. Parents welcome! Students need to bring $1 to help purchase ceiling tiles that they will handprint and sign after the sunrise for display in the senior hallway. Go Pirates!

This is for 2024 SENIORS ONLY! If you are wanting to paint a parking spot or pick a parking spot, then you will need to come by the high school office from 1:30-2:30(Monday-Thursday) to pick up an application. These have to be turned in and approved by July 28th. August 3rd and 4th will be the days assigned to paint the spots. Go Pirates!
